For the initial launch, REIT DAO has completed the selection and due diligence of the first real estate assets. These are premium income-generating properties operated by international hospitality brands, located in jurisdictions where crypto-based real estate transactions are legally permitted.
As part of the project launch, REIT DAO specialists have completed the selection of the first real estate assets and conducted comprehensive legal and development due diligence.
The initial portfolio consists of premium income-generating properties comparable in class to assets operated under brands such as Wyndham and Radisson, managed by experienced and reliable operating companies.
These projects typically offer structured income guarantees, as well as predefined buyback or exit conditions, providing predictable and transparent investment parameters.
Location strategy
At the first stage, REIT DAO focuses exclusively on jurisdictions where real estate transactions using cryptocurrency are legally possible.
Such locations are becoming increasingly limited, which makes early access and structured participation especially important.
A key difference from traditional REITs
Unlike classical REITs or centralized investment funds, final acquisition decisions within REIT DAO are made collectively by the DAO participants themselves.
Each property is reviewed, assessed, and approved through on-chain governance mechanisms.
Future model
As the number of participants and total managed capital grows, REIT DAO plans to implement a model where:
- developers submit investment opportunities directly to the DAO;
- REIT DAO conducts internal legal and financial assessment;
- participants vote on which properties and in what volumes to invest.
This approach is designed to improve deal quality, negotiating power, and access to preferential terms.
